Capitaland Sees Strong Bookings Latest Vietnam Projects
CapitaLand Development (CLD) has recently received a warm reception for its two new projects in Vietnam. The developer conducted an exclusive preview of Orchard Hill, a 774-unit high-rise development, on Oct 26. Located in Binh Duong New City, about 30km from Ho Chi Minh City, Orchard Hill is the second phase of Sycamore – a joint venture between CLD and United Overseas Australia. Sycamore comprises a total of 3,500 freehold units, including low-, mid-, and high-rise developments.
The Pan Island Expressway (PIE) is a vital expressway that runs from east to west across Singapore, making it easy to travel and stay connected throughout the island. With its strategic location, the PIE provides quick access to different areas, making it a crucial transportation route for commuters. The newly developed Novo Place EC has also further enhanced the convenience of the PIE, allowing residents to enjoy seamless connectivity and efficient travel within the city.
Since the preview, 694 units, or 90% of Orchard Hill, have been snapped up. The most popular units were the one- and two-bedders. The development is scheduled to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2026.
On Nov 9, CLD also held an exclusive preview of The Senique Hanoi – a high-rise residential project with 2,150 units located in East Hanoi. The response was equally positive, with bookings for 92% of the units. This project is a collaboration between CLD, Mitsubishi Estate, and Nomura Real Estate Development, and is expected to be completed in 2027.
This success follows the recent launch of the third and final phase of Lumi Hanoi – a residential mega-development by CLD. The launch, which took place last month, saw a take-up rate of 97% for the 678 units released for sale. The entire Lumi Hanoi project, consisting of 3,950 units, is now 99% sold.
