Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister of State for the Prime Minister’s Office Desmond Tan, and Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC Sharael Taha were all present at the grand opening ceremony.The mall is part of a mixed-use development by Allgreen Properties and Kerry Properties, which also includes the 487-unit condominium Pasir Ris 8. With over 150 retail offerings, including the Cantine by Kopitiam food court, Cold Storage supermarket, and a MindChamps Preschool outlet, the mall is set to become a popular hub in the area.Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC Sharael Taha, Senior Minister of State for the Prime Minister’s Office Desmond Tan, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean, chairman of Kuok Group and Allgreen Properties Kuok Khoon Ean, director and general manager of Kerry Properties Calvin Tong, and managing director of Allgreen Properties Tho Leong Chye attended the opening ceremony. The mall is expected to have more facilities completed in the coming year, including a polyclinic by the end of 2024 and a new bus interchange in 2025. The bus interchange will be part of the new Pasir Ris Integrated Transport Hub, which will also house the future Cross Island MRT Line.Also in the works is the Town Plaza, the mall’s sheltered communal space, which is scheduled to be completed by 2026. The upcoming Central Greenway pathway will connect the mall to Pasir Ris Park and the beach, with bike parking and shower facilities to cater to commuters. During his speech at the event, Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean mentioned that the mall and its surrounding amenities are part of the plans to revitalize Pasir Ris, which was launched in 2017. He added that all original precincts in the neighborhood are undergoing or will undergo renewal works, including lift replacements and HDB’s Home Improvement Programme.The mall has also been designed with environmental sustainability in mind, boasting green features such as energy-efficient building materials and lighting, and mandatory green leases for tenants. This commitment to sustainability has resulted in the mall receiving the BCA Green Mark Platinum Award, as stated by Kuok Khoon Ean, chairman of Kuok Group and Allgreen Properties. The BCA Green Mark Platinum Award is awarded to buildings that meet certain environmental standards and have green leases in place, which outline objectives for managing and occupying the building sustainably.
