The awards were presented in two sessions, with agents receiving accolades in four categories. The first session saw winners in the Silver and Gold categories of the Salesperson Achievement Award. In the evening, individual and multi-award winners in the Platinum and Diamond categories were honoured. Other awards included the Outstanding Youths Award, which recognises agents under the age of 28 who earned a gross commission of at least $120,000 in 2023, and the Rookies Award, which celebrates new agents who have shown exceptional sales and rental performance with a minimum of $80,000 within 18 months.

In addition, the Seniors Achievers Award acknowledged agents who are 60 years and above and earned a minimum of $100,000 in the previous year. During his speech, Minister Faishal emphasised the crucial role agents play in helping clients navigate the complex real estate market and safeguard their best interests. He also urged agents to speak out against unscrupulous agents who engage in misleading practices or false advertising, which can damage the industry’s reputation.

SEAA President Adam Wang addressed the notable increase in participating agencies this year, with more than 600 awardees. This, he says, speaks to the credibility and professionalism of these accolades in the real estate industry. Wang also highlighted recent initiatives by SEAA, such as the memorandum of understanding on best practices for co-broking commissions, which aim to support agents in Singapore. He also mentioned the association’s commitment to providing agents with the latest tools and knowledge to stay ahead in the industry and thrive in any market condition.
