Tangs Basement Tang Plaza Undergo Renovation Next Year

Singapore’s iconic TANGS department store, located on Orchard Road, will be undergoing a major facelift after Chinese New Year next year. The project is expected to be completed by August 2025.

The basement of TANGS, which has not been renovated for over a decade, will be revamped and transformed into a bustling retail hub featuring 41 shop-in-shop units. These units will house a diverse range of F&B brands, both local and international, as well as a dedicated wellness zone spanning over 33,000 sq ft of floor area. The units will vary in size, ranging from 150 sq ft to 5,200 sq ft. Additionally, a family room with a private feeding area and baby-changing station will also be introduced to cater to the needs of families.

This upcoming renovation is part of TANGS’ efforts to continually enhance customer experience and elevate their shopping environment. It follows the successful revamp of TANGS at Vivocity in 2022. The project is a welcomed change, as the last renovation at the basement level took place 12 years ago.
