According to a recent caveat lodged on June 11, a two-bedroom unit measuring 743 sq ft in the development was sold for a record-breaking $2,383 psf, amounting to a total of $1.77 million. The seller of this unit, located on the 11th floor, had originally purchased it back in August 2011 for $1.47 million, equating to $1,979 psf. This 99-year leasehold condo achieved a new record of $2,187 psf when a two-bedroom unit on the 26th floor, spanning 700 sq ft, was sold for $1.53 million on June 10. The same unit was originally purchased from the developer back in July 2013 for $1.12 million or $1,605 psf. This means that the seller made a profit of approximately $410,000 on the deal.The June 10 transaction at J Gateway is significant as it has surpassed the previous record of $2,126 psf set back in September 2023. During that period, a one-bedroom unit measuring 484 sq ft was sold for $1.03 million.
