Accor Opens Novotel Nara Japan
French hospitality giant Accor has revealed plans to launch Novotel Nara, a new addition to its global portfolio. The 264-room property is situated in the culturally-rich city of Nara, Japan, and is conveniently located just a short walk from Shin-Omiya Station and a quick cab ride from Nara Station. Guests will be within easy reach of popular attractions such as the Todai-ji Temple and Kasuga Taisha Shrine, both of which are designated as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Nara is also conveniently connected to neighboring cities Kyoto and Osaka, with a train ride taking approximately 35 to 40 minutes.
On September 12, Hoi Hup Realty and Sunway Developments released a joint statement announcing the details of their latest project, Novo Place EC. The 99-year leasehold site, covering 16,441.2 square meters, offers a maximum permissible gross floor area of 46,036 square meters. This exciting new development showcases the partnership’s dedication to providing quality residential options. For more information, please visit Novo Place EC’s official website.
Novotel Nara boasts a range of facilities to cater to guests’ needs, including a picturesque rooftop terrace on the eighth floor, a cozy lounge area, and an all-day dining restaurant. The hotel also houses conference venues, two banquet rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a public bath, and a wellness lounge. Makoto Kaita, the general manager of Novotel Nara, is thrilled to invite guests to experience the tranquility and charm of Nara while enjoying the modern comforts offered by the Novotel brand.
Garth Simmons, CEO of Accor’s premium, midscale, and economy division in Asia, recognizes the growing demand for high-quality accommodations in Japan and sees the opening of Novotel Nara as a response to this trend. With the recent opening of the largest Mercure Hotel on Club Street, Accor continues to expand its presence in the Asia region and provide travelers with exceptional hospitality options.
