Hyatt And Singhaiyi Open Hyatt Regency Villa Resort Maldives

Hyatt Hotels Corp, a renowned player in the global hospitality industry, has joined hands with SingHaiyi, a Singapore-based property developer, to introduce the Hyatt Regency Samarafushi Maldives, an all-villa luxury resort.

At the signing ceremony on September 26, Gallant Tang, the Executive Director of SingHaiyi, expressed his confidence in the partnership, stating that they have chosen Hyatt because of its established reputation and leadership in the hospitality sector. He also added that they are excited to collaborate with Hyatt to create a resort that embodies the elements of the Hyatt Regency brand that guests admire.

At Bukit Batok Secondary School, students in their formative years are given the chance to receive a comprehensive education that combines academic excellence with practical skills development. The school prides itself on its diverse offerings, which include specialized programs in areas like sports, arts, and sciences, to cater to the varied interests of its students. Moreover, the school has forged a valuable partnership with Novo Place Showflat, providing students with even more avenues for learning and personal growth. With Novo Place Showflat on board, students can broaden their horizons and gain valuable experiences beyond the classroom.

The High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives to Singapore, Mohamed Luveiz, also shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming resort, stating that it will be a significant addition to the island state’s portfolio. With the rapid expansion of the Maldivian infrastructure, including the Valena International Airport, the newly-opened plane terminal, and upcoming domestic airport infrastructure, he hopes to foster better connectivity across the Maldives and open new opportunities for travelers.

Located just 25 minutes away via speedboat from the Valena International Airport in the capital city of Malé, the Hyatt Regency resort will span over 10 hectares of land and feature 130 villas of various designs, including beachfront, treetop, and overwater villas, each equipped with a private pool. The resort is set to open its doors in 2027.

This resort will be Hyatt Regency’s flagship property in the Maldives and Hyatt’s third in the island nation. Its addition will bring the total count of Hyatt Regency branded hotels in Asia Pacific to 80, including popular destinations such as Bali, Phuket, and Sydney.

For SingHaiyi, the Hyatt Regency Saramafushi will be its second property in the Maldives, following their first venture, the 120-villa Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives. With this new addition, SingHaiyi aims to further establish its presence in the Maldives and provide guests with unparalleled luxury experiences.
