Hilton Garden Inn Opens 100Th Hotel Greater China
Hilton, a leading global hospitality company, has recently opened its newest property, the Hilton Garden Inn Beihai Jiafu, in the dynamic seaport city of Beihai, China. This marks a major milestone for the company, with the property being its 100th Hilton Garden Inn in the Greater China region. The hotel boasts 199 elegant rooms and is conveniently located just 2km from the Beihai High-Speed Railway Station and 6km from the Beihai Fucheng Airport. It is also just a short 20-minute drive to the Beihai International Passenger Port.
In a press release on December 13, Qian Jin, the President of Hilton Greater China and Mongolia, expressed his excitement about this latest addition to the brand. He stated, “The opening of the Beihai Jiafu Hilton Garden Inn not only showcases the rapid growth of our brand, but also reaffirms our strong commitment to the Chinese market.” Hilton first introduced the Hilton Garden Inn brand in China with the opening of its Shenzhen property in 2014. Since then, the brand has expanded to various cities across the country, including Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Guilin, and Aksu. There are plans for more Hilton Garden Inn properties to open in China by 2025, with upcoming debuts in popular tourist destinations such as Zhangjiajie, Ordos, Huangshan, Shanwei, and Jinan.
In addition to these exciting new openings, Hilton also has plans to target a new generation of travelers in Greater China with the introduction of its Hilton Garden Inn Gen A properties. These properties have been specifically designed for Generation Alpha travelers and initial locations are set to open in Nanjing, Chengdu, Chengde, and Jinan. They will add to the already expansive presence of Hilton Garden Inn properties in the wider Asia Pacific region.
Speaking about the expansion of the brand in Asia Pacific, Clarence Tan, Senior Vice President of Development for Asia Pacific at Hilton, shared that there are currently over 200 Hilton Garden Inn properties in development in the region. With its continued growth and innovative offerings, Hilton Garden Inn is set to become a staple in the hospitality industry across the globe.
