Huttons Asia, a local property agency, is on a mission to raise $60,000 for the Garden City Fund through their inaugural Huttons x OneMillionTrees Sustainability Walk event. This announcement was made during the Huttons Gala Awards on April 8, with Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, as the guest of honour.
The proceeds from the Sustainability Walk will go towards the Garden City Fund, a registered charity established by NParks to support the OneMillionTrees movement. Launched in 2020, this nationwide effort aims to plant one million trees on the island by 2030. According to Huttons, the target amount they are trying to raise will enable the fund to plant a total of 200 new trees.
“Our goal is not just about real estate work,” says Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons. “We also strive to collaborate with other brands, participate in sports activities, and engage with the community.” The real estate agency has been supporting the OneMillionTrees movement since 2022 through their Plant-A-Tree programme. To date, they have raised over $40,000 for the fund.
