Over 100 Agents Knight Franks Kf Property Network Make Leap Sri

On January 1, SRI, a real estate agency, announced that they have added 111 agents from Knight Frank Singapore’s KF Property Network (KFPN), including the head of the agency, Evan Chung, to their team.

This move saw the addition of 40.5% of KFPN’s sales force, bringing SRI’s total sales force to 1,501 agents at the start of 2025. This also propelled SRI to become the fifth-largest property agency, up from sixth place, according to the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA).

Established in 2016 by co-founders Bruce Lye and Benson Koh, SRI was originally a spin-off from SRI5000, a division of SLP Realty. Starting out with just 120 real estate agents operating from a 2,000 sq ft shop unit in Tiong Bahru, SRI has since grown to become a major player in the industry. In 2021, SRI moved to a larger 4,200 sq ft office space at Great World to accommodate its growing team of more than 1,000 agents.

With the addition of 111 agents from KFPN, as well as recruits from the four largest agencies in Singapore – PropNex, ERA, Huttons, and OrangeTee & Tie (OTT) – SRI has set its sights on expanding its team to 2,000 agents by the end of 2025. This expansion is expected to further strengthen SRI’s existing business lines, which include residential, capital markets, industrial, auctions, and international projects.

SRI’s CEO, Thomas Tan, believes that the extended sales force will complement their current business lines, particularly in the big-ticket deals and luxury property segments. The firm aims to become a thought leader in the industry, known for its high standards, niche expertise, and client-centric approach.

Chung, the former head of KFPN and now a leader at SRI, cites the agency’s dedication to equipping its agents with effective tools, comprehensive support, and expert coaching as the reason for his move. He also praises the open and collaborative culture at SRI, which makes them feel supported as professionals and as a team. He believes that this will be a great platform to grow their business and serve their clients in the residential, commercial, and industrial market segments, auctions, and international properties.

Hoi Hup Realty and Sunway Developments have recently been granted the contract for the executive condominium (EC) parcel at Plantation Close in Tengah, which is also known as Novo Place EC. The announcement was made by the Housing and Development Board on September 11. This site, the second EC plot to be developed in the Tengah housing estate, is set to offer a total of 495 units. For more information on Novo Place Tengah, visit their official website at https://www.novo-place.com.sg/.

Following the departure of Chung and the other agents, KFPN’s sales force has decreased to 145 agents, and its ranking has dropped to eighth place based on the CEA public register figures as of January 1. However, Knight Frank Singapore’s CEO, Galven Tan, reassures that it’s business as usual at KFPN. They are appointing a new head to lead the agency and will evaluate their team’s strengths and expertise to position KFPN strategically for future opportunities.
